Robert B. Worman is an attorney and Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Mediator whose offices are located in Orlando, Florida. Mr. Worman limits his practice to the representation of businesses and individuals employed in construction activities throughout Central Florida. Mr. Worman's practice includes representing clients engaged in all aspects of the construction process including banks, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, materialmem, building material manufacturers and manufacturer's representatives, architects and engineers. His litigation case work takes him to courts throughout the State of Florida. As a legal advisor, Mr. Worman has assisted clients in projects across the United States. Mr. Worman's practical experience comes through his many years of working in his family's building material/lumber yard located in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Mr. Worman graduated with honors in 1969 from the University of Florida's College of Business Administration, majoring in Accounting. In 1973, he graduated from the University of Florida Law School with his Juris Doctorate.

In 1974, Mr. Worman became associated with Linton Waterhouse, a well-known construction litigation attorney located in Orlando, Florida, and became a shareholder in the Law Firm of  Waterhouse and Worman, P.A. In 1980 Mr. Worman went into practice by himself as The Law Offices of Robert B. Worman, where he was joined by Scott S. Sheffler, upon Mr. Sheffler's graduation from law school.  In 2007,  the firm of Worman & Sheffler, P.A. was created.  Mr. Worman limits his practice primarily in the area of construction and business law.  During this time period Mr. Worman has been and continues to act as General Counsel to the National Association of Credit Management of Florida, Inc., working closely with its Construction Lien Notice to Owner/Contractor Department as its legal advisor on all lien and bond law and legislative matters, and Legal Counsel to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Worman is a member of The Florida Bar and has served for many years as a member of The Florida Bar's Construction Law Committee. In addition, Mr. Worman is a member of American Bar Association, and the American Bar Association's Forum Committee on the Construction Industry.

Over the years Mr. Worman has also been actively involved in the construction law legislative process, and has assisted in the drafting of major construction lien law legislation. He is also a well-known lecturer throughout the State of Florida on Florida's Construction Lien and Bond Laws. He has been a contributing author on Florida's Construction Lien Law and Bond Claim Statutes published as part of The Credit Manager's Survival Kit.

Mr. Worman resides in Longwood, Florida, with his wife, Marjorie. They have two sons. Mr. Worman has been active in many community and civic organizations, presently volunteers as a member/trustee for various non-profit corporations.
