At the Worman & Sheffler, P.A., we offer representation and counsel to companies in a variety of topics.  From day-to-day business dealings, to transactional and litigation matters, we understand the questions you encounter owning and operating a business in Florida.  Some of the specific issues we handle include:

Construction Law - Many of our clients are in the construction industry in the Orlando area but we also represent multi-state companies and corporations across the country.  In addition to years as a construction law advisor, Mr. Worman has been involved in legislation directly affecting the construction industry.  Our clients include banks, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, materialmen, building material manufacturers and manufacturer's representatives, architects, and engineers.  We have special expertise in matters facing business people in construction because Mr. Worman has personal family roots in the lumber and building material industry.

Alternative Dispute Resolution - Mediation and Arbitration - When you want to avoid the expense and stress of litigation, mediation or arbitration may be realistic alternatives.  We represent clients in state and federal alternative dispute resolution and have special training in mediation.  Mr. Worman is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Circuit Court Mediator.  In addition to mediation relating to business and construction law, he serves as a mediator in general civil matters.  His knowledge as a mediator allows us to work more effectively for our clients who choose to mediate rather than litigate.

Business and Commercial Law - Owning and operating a business can be rewarding and exhausting.  We know the issues you face on a daily basis because we have similar experience.  You must consider the future in each decision you make.  We handle a broad range of activity including, drafting commercial contracts, questions relating to leases or warranties, and corporate formation and organization. 

Litigation and Appeals - When a disagreement escalates to a legal dispute, it pays to have a lawyer experienced in litigation.  We will represent you in court, should negotiation fail, and will also take on any necessary appeals.  Much of the litigation we handle relates to construction law matters or issues relating to real property.

Debtor / Creditor Law - We also represent creditors when a borrower has filed for bankruptcy.  Our clients include banks, financial institutions, and other commercial lenders.
